CSB Lacrosse
The CSB Lacrosse team was founded in 2003 by two St. Bens students. Since then, the team has continued to grow and improve each year. The team currently stands at about 25 players (the number varies year to year) and one coach. Because of our policy, the team does not have try outs or cut any players who want to play. Our team varies from rookies to extremely experienced players.
CSB lacrosse practices year-round, playing four "fall ball" games during the fall semester and about 8-12 games in the spring semester. Practices run twice a week in the fall and three to four times a week in the spring.
The team has traveled to away tournaments in Champagne, Illinois and Santa Barbara, California. CSB lacrosse participated in the WCLA Nationals Tournament (for club teams) at the division II level in 2010 in Scottsdale, Arizona and finished 7th in the nation. The team received a bid to nationals in 2011 but was not able to go to the tournament due to financial reasons.
The St. Ben's lacrosse team prides themselves on playing good and "classy" lacrosse. The team hopes to continue to improve as the rest of the midwest's interest increase in the sport of women's lacrosse.

We would love to talk with you! St. Ben's Lacrosse is an unique opportunity for an athlete to get that "competitive fix" (we all know and love) playing for a fast-growing and well-respected team, while creating and building great friendships that make college what it is.
