Reunion Awards

Honoring our inspiring alumnae

It's a Saint Ben's tradition to recognize four outstanding alumnae with awards during a special ceremony at Reunion. This year is extra special as it's the All-School Reunion, celebrating 100 years of Saint Ben's. In honor of the Centennial, we have added three special Centennial awards, open to alumnae from all class years. Below you'll find brief descriptions of each award.

Nominations were accepted through October 15, 2012, and the winners will be announced in January 2013. We hope to see you at reunion, June 28-30, 2013!

Distinguished Alumna Award

Honors an alumna who has distinguished herself for her outstanding achievements in her chosen profession as well as has made a lasting contribution in her field as a role model or leader for all alumnae.

Decade Award

Honors a 2003 alumna who is recognized by her peers as a great role model and leader for younger alumnae because her outstanding achievements, representing global consciousness and community involvement in her chosen profession.

Benedictine Service Award

Honors an alumna who has made a significant impact on those around her for her continued commitment and contributions to community service and social justice at a regional, national, or international level while also demonstrating a commitment to the Benedictine spirit of giving, hospitality, love of others, listening and social stewardship.

Sister Emmanuel Renner Service Award

Honors an alumna for her service to the College of Saint Benedict and recognizes her contributions as a leader, steward and volunteer to her alma mater.

Presidents' Awards

Honors forward-thinking alums who demonstrate great leadership through Benedictine values.

Legacy Award

Honors a family with a legacy of women, across multiple generations, who have attended (or are attending) Saint Ben's.

Circle of Sisters Award

Honors a group of two or more women whose bond exemplifies the Bennie sisterhood. Together, they demonstrate wisdom in sharing their collective spirit and personal strength as a prerequisite for helping others.
