1. The effort or inclination to increase the well-being of humankind, as by charitable aid or donations.

2. The giving of your time, talent, or treasure.

The students at the College of Saint Benedict share the spirit of philanthropy.  They are following their passions, developing, and implementing efforts to promote causes important to them.  Fellow Bennies show their support by providing financial gifts to make these efforts possible.   

The involvement of CSB students in philanthropy instills in them the importance of empowering and giving back to their fellow Bennies even after they graduate.
