Phone: (320) 363-3175 Education: B.A. in Biology / Environmental Science from Colby College; Ph.D. in Ecology with minor in Applied Statistics from the University of Minnesota; Post-doctoral research associate at the University of California-Irvine. Research Interests: Terrestrial plant ecology, ecology and evolution of interactions between plants and herbivores, particularly those between goldenrods and their herbivorous insects, restoration ecology. Courses Taught: General Ecology, Biology of the Pacific Northwest, Plant-Animal Interactions, Introductory Biology, Integrated Environmental Science, Life Science. Recommended advisor for: students interested in ecology, conservation biology, wildlife management, graduate school.
