Education: B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse; M.S. and Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Minnesota.

Research interests: Ecological genetics (especially frogs and fruit flies), evolutionary reasons for the persistence of sex and genetic recombination, genetics of reproductive isolation.

Courses taught: Genetics, Evolution, Introductory Biology.
