ROTC & Soccer Keeps Cadet Holte Busy

First year College of Saint Benedict soccer player Mollie Holte (Chanhassen, MN, American School of Doha) knew coming in to college that being a student athlete would be a lot of work. On top of soccer and school, Holte is a member of ROTC. This makes for quite the schedule.
Holte, a four sport athlete (soccer, cross country, hockey, rugby) in high school, stated, “So far, ROTC is going really well. It is a great place to experience what it means to part of something greater than yourself. I have met so many incredibly intelligent, hardworking, and selfless people through ROTC”. Holte went on to say, “I am amazed each day by the positive attitude and commitment that the cadets at Saint John's, Saint Ben's and Saint Cloud show towards their peers and country. From day one I have been welcomed into a family of individuals who have chosen a path of leadership and have committed to serving their country. I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn from the cadets here at Saint John's/Saint Ben's, and work along side them in our journey to become commissioned officers in the United States Army.” Full Article
