Cadet Of The Month - September 2008
Cadet Glen W. Belmer was September's 2008 Cadet of the Month. In high school, he participated in Football and Track and completed Basic Combat Training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina between his junior and senior year of high school. He currently holds an overall 3.72 GPA at St. Cloud State University, and will be attending Airborne School at Ft. Benning, Georgia this summer. He is a member of the Aero Club, and Vice President of the AUSA Subchapter for the Fighting Saints Battalion. He plans to branch Aviation and will be commissioning in the spring of 2011.
"ROTC and the Army in general have turned me into a person with the skills necessary to be a good leader to my future soldiers and my peers. The knowledge I have gained through ROTC will give me the skills and insight to perform and be a leader in any job, whether it be an Army officer, or any other field of work."
