Cadet of the Month



The Cadet of the Month is the cadet that is recognized by their peers and cadre as the cadet that represents the multifaceted scholar, athlete, and leader exemplified by our organization. The cadet of the month is selected from a pool of over 120 Cadets from Saint John's University, St. Cloud State University, and College of Saint Benedict. Cadets are nominated by their squad leader and the cadet leadership conducts a board. The board consists of questions on general knowledge, leadership, and basic officer leadership course information. Other criteria for the cadets include their involvement in ROTC, the student body, and in the community. Cadets selected are recognized by the program, receive a certificate of achievement, and compete in the battalion's cadet of the year competition held at the end of the school year.
