More about college guides

Think choosing a college is complicated? Understanding college guides can be even more complicated.

A few things to remember:

Very few college guide editors have been on the college campuses they rank, rate and review.

Many seemingly objective college guides actually require colleges to pay to participate (none of the college guides included here charge a fee).

Every guide has its own bias, even guides that appear to be very objective and data driven.

Your friends, parents, neighbors, teachers and counselors are still the best guides.

Make sure you read what college counselors (real experts) from around the U.S. say about CSB/SJU.
