Overnight Visits

There is so much to do and see at CSB/SJU that a single morning or afternoon may not be enough to give you a good feel for the place. An overnight visit provides the opportunity to sample the food in our dining halls (our treat, of course!), spend a night in the residence halls with a current student, participate in activities like attending classes, sitting in on music rehearsals, taking in a campus sporting or fine arts event, and the list goes on!

Guidelines for setting up an overnight visit:

  • The Admission Office coordinates overnight visits for accepted students during the academic year through April 30. Because we require a two week notice, all requests must be made before April 15. 
  • Please call the Admission Office at least two weeks in advance to arrange your overnight stay.
  • Overnight visits are scheduled in conjunction with our current calendar. We may be unable to accommodate requests for specific dates due to breaks, long weekends, campus events, etc. Please call our office to make overnight arrangements and have several dates in mind. You may also check our Visit Calendar for the months of: February, March and April.
  • We are unable to schedule overnight visits for high school juniors.
  • Overnight visits are limited to one night and are available Sunday through Thursday.
  • You will receive a confirmation packet which includes a Campus Visit Waiver prior to your visit. Make sure you bring the waiver along with you and turn it into the Admission Office.
