International Student Arrival Information
Please make reservations for your international flight to arrive at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Try to arrive during the day between the hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. We will have student mentors available to greet you when you arrive to campus and to escort you to your room.
Getting to Campus:
Please be aware that the CSB/SJU campuses are approximately 80 miles (128 kilometers) away from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. It takes up to two hours by car to go from the airport to the campuses.
The CSB/SJU International Admission Office can make arrangements for you to get from the airport to campus. If you would like us to make arrangements, please choose that option on the International Student Arrival Form on the Enrolled Student Portal. If you will rent a car or make other arrangements on your own to arrive to campus, please choose one of those options on the International Student Arrival Form.
Note: We recommend that you do not take a taxi cab from the airport to CSB/SJU as the cost is very expensive.
Flight Delays:
If your flight is unexpectedly delayed and will arrive late at night, please contact Roger Young, the Director of International Admission. He will give you instructions on the best options for you to arrive to CSB/SJU. In an extreme emergency please seek overnight accommodations near the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and call us for further instructions. If needed, we recommend The Comfort Inn Hotel (952-854-3400), at 1321 78th Street, Bloomington, Minnesota, which is very near the airport. A free shuttle service to the Comfort Inn is provided to and from the airport.
