First in my Family Scholarship

This Sallie Mae scholarship is for Hispanic-American students who are the first person in their family to attend college. Scholarships of $500 to $5,000 will be awarded.

Gates Millennium Scholarship

A scholarship for American students of color (African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans and Native Americans).

The John Gyles Education Scholarship

Financial assistance is available to full-time students, undergraduate or graduate, in both Canada and the United States. Criteria other than strictly academic ability and financial need are considered in the slection process. Selected students will receive up to $3,000. Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color

The Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color (MnACC) gives a number of $500 scholarship to Students of Color from Minnesota who plan to attend a MnACC college or university. CSB and SJU are both members.

Northwest Airline Pilots' Wives Club Heart Research Scholarship

Minnesota residents, attending a Minnesota college or university or high school seniors, with an interest in the health science area. Two $1,800 summer research internships will be awarded.

NSRCF Scholarship for Southeast Asian High School Seniors

Interest from the NSRCF (Nisei Student Relocation Commemorative Fund) endowment is awarded to Southeast Asian students to help cover expenses during college.

A scholarship for Minnesota students of color who will be attending college in Minnesota.

Sallie Mae Fund "Unmet Need Scholarship Program"

Eligible candidates will 1) have a combined family income of $30,000 or less; 2) demonstrate financial need of more than $1,000 without loans; and 3) have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Scholarships of up to $3,800 will be awarded.

The Minnesota Private Colleges Council provides scholarship search opportunities for diverse students.

USA Funds Access to Education Scholarships™

Open to high school seniors. Applicants must have an annual adjusted gross family income of $35,000 or less, and be a U.S. citizen, or permanent resident aliens with a Green Card, or refugees with a Departure Record — Form I-94 (includes applicants from Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and all of the U.S. Territories and Commonwealths). Renewable scholarships of $1,500 to full-time students and $750 to part-time students

US Bank Scholarship

This scholarship from U.S. Bank offers 25 scholarships valued at $1,000 each. Students must apply on the Web site.
