Congratulations on your acceptance to the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. Please review the information enclosed in your acceptance packet for timelines, contacts, and important steps ahead. Contact the Admission Office if you have any questions.

Steps Ahead

  1. U.S. students need to complete the enrollment form included in your acceptance packet.
  2. Submit the enrollment deposit. This deposit can be paid online or sent along with your enrollment form. Your enrollment form should be mailed to: CSB/SJU Office of Admission, PO Box 7155, Collegeville, MN 56321.
  3. If you plan on applying for financial aid, submit: the FAFSA, the CSB/SJU Financial Aid Application, and the First Year Certification Form by the recommended deadline, March 15.
  4. Please review the other important steps ahead included in your acceptance packet.

Important Forms for Enrolled Students

  • Once you make the decision to attend CSB/SJU there will be many important forms to fill out! The links to forms for students starting CSB/SJU in Fall Semester 2012 will be available via the Enrolled Student Portal, beginning in February. 
  • The portal will not be accessible to students until one week after enrolling.
  • Complete the enrollment form and submit your enrollment deposit prior to completing other forms.

Important Dates for Accepted Students

March

April

  • April 1 — Important forms available online.

May

  • May 1 — National response date. Admitted students have a spot reserved until this date.
  • May 15 — CSB and SJU Housing Application Forms due.
  • May 15 — Priority deadline for registration and placement exams.

June

  • June 12 — Loan application instructions mailed from the Financial Aid Office.
  • June 15 — On-campus job instructions sent by e-mail to students with work awards.
  • June 15 — CSB Health Form due
  • June 15 — SJU Immunization Record due
  • June 30 — Loan application(s) due to the Financial Aid Office.

July

  • July 4 — Offices closed.
  • Mid-July — Housing, registration and fall semester billing sent.
  • Mid-July — Campus computer account and e-mail information sent.

August

  • August 1 — Move-in information mailed.
  • August 10 — Billing payment due.
  • August 10 — Payment Agreement and Disclosure Statement due.
  • August 20 — Collegebound, an optional, pre-orientation trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
  • August 22 — International student move-in day.
  • August 26 — Move-in day and New Student Orientation begins.
  • August 28 — Transfer Student Orientation.
  • August 29 — Classes begin.

September

  • September 3 — Labor Day, classes held.

Academic Advising
Contact the Academic Advising Office if you have questions about your class schedule, the transfer of college credits or academic requirements.

Athletics

CSB Athletics - All CSB students planning to participate in intercollegiate (NCAA) athletics must mail a copy of the Health Report Form and a proof of insurance form to the CSB Head Athletic Trainer.  The Health Report Form must be completed during a physical by a doctor within six months of the first day of practice.  The Verification of Health Insurance Questionnaire and Homelink information must be completed as well.  Each of these four components must be completed before the athlete will be able to participate in CSB Athletics.  Please view the Athlete Medical Release Forms website for more details.

SJU Athletics - All SJU students planning to participate in intercollegiate (NCAA) athletics must submit a Student-Athlete Physical Form to the SJU Head Athletic Trainer. The form is available in the Enrolled Student Portal or on the SJU Athletics website (www.gojohnnies.com).

Financial Aid
Contact the Financial Aid Office if you have questions about your financial aid eligibility and financial aid award.

Health Services

CSB students, contact the CSB Health Center if you have questions about the required physical exam or other health requirements.

  • CSB: (320) 363-5605 - please note that the CSB Health Center is closed during June and July, but messages will be checked intermittently and calls returned.

SJU students, contact the SJU Counseling & Health Promotion office if you have questions about the required Immunization Record.

International Admission

Contact the International Student Program Office if you have questions about orientation.

Residential Life
Contact the Residential Life Office regarding roommate and residence assignments, or other questions about residential halls. Room assignments made in July.
