Global Language Placement Exams

Students who have previously studied Spanish, French or German will take a placement test to determine the appropriate course for continuing study at the college level. Students must complete global language study through the 211 (Intermediate) level. Students who place in 212 or higher may fulfill the global language requirement by taking the 212 course or successfully completing an on-campus proficiency test.

No student will fulfill the global language requirement simply on the basis of the placement exam.
