CSB and SJU celebrate Food Week

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University will be celebrating Food Week Oct. 20 - 24. The week of events, which culminates in National Food Day Friday, Oct. 24, will include presentations by featured speakers, food booths featuring local, sustainable food options and a food drive.

Author James Silas Rogers to visit campus and discuss new book

James Silas Rogers, author of "Northern Orchards: Places Near the Dead," will be having an informal conversation about his new book at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Saint John's Pottery on the Saint John's University campus.

Winner of the Sister Mariella Gable Book Award is finalist for National Book Award

This year's winner of the Sister Mariella Gable Award, "Citizen: An American Lyric" by Claudia Rankine, has been named a finalist for the 2014 National Book Award in poetry.
